HOW TO SPEND SNOW DAYS.

Washington, D.C and the rest of the east coast consumed by the snow blizzard 2010. This unpredictable weather phenomenon has rocked the boat for a number of folks who live in the areas around the capital and its environs.

Rocked the boat for some folks? Yeah, I mean exactly that.

It is important to know that mother nature is no respector for men, circumstances we are in, and our future plans. The catastrophes strike whenever. They do not give us warnings. They are sneaky and just happen when we are always least prepared.

Recall the 7.0 magnitude earthquake in Haiti ? Yes, no warnings, no earlier signs and no preparations. All over in a short moment, the major disaster happened killing many people. Many who perished had their dreams and those of their loved ones shuttered.

Remember New Orleans and the humangous hurricane Katrina. How many lives were lost? Many, many lives were lost. How many dreams were shuttered? Just as many.

How about the Tsunami in the Indian ocean countries a few years ago? Many perished and uncountable dreams destroyed and washed away into the monstrous ocean. Any warnings? No.
In a short moment, those gigantic waves dismantled the beaches of some cities in the Indian ocean countries killing thousands and drowning their dreams and for their loved ones.

And many more natural disasters have happened and continue to happen around us.

How about man-made disasters that many lost and lose their lives? The difference; man-made disasters can be prevented but they still catch as off guard and ill-prepared. Many disasters could be prevented if we change from being more reactive to being proactive. Man-made disasters could be driven by hatred, greed and poverty. Such as wars, bombings and genocides.

What is the point?

We can never be more prepared for all the disasters adequately but some level of proactive preparedness may go along away in saving lives and subsequently, many dreams.

How does it matter anyway?

The difference in succeeding in life and failing in life to achieve one's dreams is all based on the preparedness, the planning and the implementation of the plans. The how, where, and when we spent our time also determines the level of our successes in life. Successful people spent their time usefully and constructively beacuse no one knows what tomorrow hold for us. The time do it is now. Never tomorrow. Tomorrow may just never come.

So how and where do we spend our snow days?

Let us go back to the drawing boards and give ourselves a fresh start in life.

Let us spend the days doing the things that are closet to our hearts such as:-
-spend time cuddling loved ones for warmth and reassurance of our love for them.
- spend some time relaxing and just being a couch potato.
- spend time on reviewing your goals geared to achieving your dreams in life.
- spend time checking on and making sure your elderly neighbors are okey and if need be help them. This a good day to serve your community and care for neighbors.
- spend time balancing you financial books, drawing your budget for the month and set your financial records straight.
- spend time to call and get in touch with your old friends you have not spoken to in a while.
-spend time to plan for your next vacation.
- spend time to update your resume.
- spend time to surf the web for the deals you are looking for on certain products and services.

Avoid any activities that would cause stress or cause us to recent the snow days. Let us view the snow as the purity that our sky generously opens up and pours down to us. The white color of the snow symbolizes the richness in its purity and its coldness deliveres this overwhelming serene feeling of calmness. We should, therefore, harness this richness of the snow and let it flow and mystically connect with our minds, bodies and souls so that it can transform us into performance machines that go out to fight for their dreams in life.
